Much of my work lately has focused on short story submissions for anthologies, but I'm excited to announce that I have a new story I'll be self-publishing early next year. Bane of the Sea will hopefully see publication this winter, and below is a picture of the cover along with a blurb. Cover art was done by Bernardo Hasselmann with cover design by Jeffrey Kosh Graphics.
"Inspired by the classic fairy tale The Emperor’s New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen, Bane of the Sea is a loose retelling of the story. When the Empress disappears at sea, the Emperor uses every resource available to him to try and find her. After weeks without news, he grows impatient, ultimately summoning someone – or something – below the sea in an effort to bring him peace of mind. But can this individual be trusted? And what role do two weavers play in the outcome?"
